Formed in the Harlem section of New York City in 1957, The Charts were an early R&B vocal group known for their gritty sound. The group consisted of Joe Grier (lead) Stephen Brown (first tenor) Glenmore Jackson (second tenor) Leroy Binns (baritone) and Ross Buford (bass).
