This Easton Mako Z-Core hybrid baseball bat is designed to help players at all skill levels maximize swing power. The Z-Core accomplishes this with its two-piece composite design which allows for a longer barrel and a larger sweet spot to ensure the ball goes farther when you connect with it. This bat also features a weighted core at the end of the aluminum barrel which gives the bat more mass when you swing it. The composite handle reduces vibration for a more comfortable feel every time you hit the ball. The Z-Core has a drop weight of -3 so players can easily swing it repeatedly without becoming excessively tired or potentially injuring themselves. The Mako Z-Core is BBCOR certified, too, so it can be used in official high school and collegiate league play.
Increased Power Through Z-Core Barrel Design
Easton designed this Mako bat to increase the power behind your swing in a number of ways. The two-piece design supports a larger barrel and this means you have a much larger sweet spot to work with. The aluminum barrel also features a weighted core that adds mass to the bat when you swing it, so balls travel farther every time you make contact. Additionally, the Z-Core’s -3 drop weight adds even more weight to each swing. This is a bat that’s designed to deliver maximum power in every swing.
Patented CXN Connection Technology
Easton uses a patented two-piece design for their Mako Z-Core baseball bats. The bat is designed in such a way that it optimizes energy transfer from your body to the bat. The result is more powerful swings that drive balls further into the field. The bat’s design also improves the feeling upon impact by reducing vibrations. This means you’ll have a smoother follow-through when a swing connects and a reduction or elimination of the painful, sudden shock that results from the bat striking the ball outside its sweet spot.
