Since he first broke out on his own in 1956, Tenor saxophonist Jay Orlando has played big band swing, Dixieland dance music, country music, rock 'n' roll and symphonic music. A much in-demand session player, Orlando has appeared on many recordings and was a featured soloist on Willie Nelson's 1995 album "Augusta." Presented here is Orlando's classic 1978 release, a tribute to the iconic jazz and rhythm and blues alto saxophonist, Earl Bostic. Joining Jay on this release are Don Michel (piano); Billy Torma (bass) and John Perrett (drums). All selections newly Remastered.
