When we began arranging music for All Things Bright and Beautiful, we decided to reach back into America's past and create music that people of all ages would love to sit back and enjoy. We pulled out all of our acoustic instruments and recorded with every one of them! Between the two of us, we play piano, nylon-string guitar, steel-string guitar, 5-string banjo, 6-string banjo, auto harp, mountain dulcimer, low 'D' whistle, mandolin, octave mandolin, and bass. We also asked some of our musician friends to join us on flute, fiddle, piano, banjo, and voice. This is a recording of hymns that are both reverent and thoughtful, and upbeat and joyous! The music style is American Appalachian, Irish, Old-Time Religion, and, what we sometimes refer to as Contemporary Acoustic Folk.
