'Redemption', was written to coincide with the poet's life, his forever growing styles of writing, and his journey into becoming what he believes a Man should be. The pieces used for the book contain multiple outlooks on life, people, and Burgin himself as a writer and a person. 'Redemption' is about change and growth and reveals a darker depth of Burgin and his struggles to change. Poems such as "Cry for Help,""The Naked Truth," and "Titanic," show dark emotions and a being in pain, but these pieces are contradicted with heartfelt and loving poems, "Daddy's Little Girl" and "When the Poet Is In Love." Over the past seven years of Maxwell's poetic career, dating back to 2007, his style has grown and matured along with the Poet himself as he transitions both himself and the World into the new him, into Majezty C. Navarro. "This culture, Poetry, was once great and praised upon, but now it has fallen and been abandoned. Avenge our culture! Avenge your name that they covered with filth! Avenge Us! Avenge Poetry, Majezty!" - From the poem, "Majezty: The Rise of Poetry's Last Stand"
